Dentro del marco del Costa Brava Vintage Race, se celebrará un Car Show and Bike Show, con coches y motos pre- 1965. Estará Ubicado frente al Puerto Deportivo de l'Estartit, los dias 25 y 26 Abril, a pocos metros de la playa. Por favor, rellenar la siguiente solicitud para poder participar.  El Car & Bike Show es totalmente gratuito.  El periodo de preinscripcion se cerrara el 31 de Marzo de 2026. Plazas Limitadas

As part of the Costa Brava Vintage Race, a Car Show and Bike Show will be held, featuring Pre 1965 Cars and Motorcycles . It will be located in front of the L'Estartit Marina, from 24 to 25 April, a few meters from the beach. Please fill out the following application form to participate. The Car & Bike Show is completely free. The Aplication period will close on March 31, 2026.

CONDICIONES DE PARTICIPACIÓN

 

Las siguientes normas regulan la participación de vehículos y pilotos en el evento

El Costa Brava Vintage Race no es una competición, no hay tiempos ni clasificaciones. es un evento puramente estético y las demostraciones dinámicas son a modo "Run for Fun", por lo tanto es responsabilidad del participante ser prudente en su conducción y comportamiento para no causar daños a si mismo ni ha terceros.

 VEHÍCULOS

 

• Se admitirán coches anteriores a 1953 y motocicletas anteriores a 1961.

• Podrán participar vehículos de cualquier procedencia (Europa, Estados Unidos u otros países).

• Tanto el vehículo como su preparación deberán respetar una estética de competición acorde a la época.

• Todo el equipamiento tipo “racing” deberá ser coherente con el periodo histórico.

• No se permiten pasajeros (acompañantes) dentro del coche/ moto, solo podrá estar el piloto. 
• Todos los coches tienen que tener carrocería, 
• Todos lo vehículos tienen que tener su seguro en vigor.
• El tapon de gasolina tiene que estar puesto y asegurado.

 PILOTOS

 

Todos los participantes deberán cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:

 

• Uso obligatorio de equipamiento de seguridad: casco de estilo vintage homologado, guantes, gafas de protección y botas adecuadas.

• Todos los pilotos tendrán que tener su licencia  de conducción en regla.
• Para las Motocicletas, el protector de espalda es obligatorio y casco tipo JET. 

• Vestimenta obligatoriamente inspirada en la época (“period correct”), incluyendo pantalones, camisetas y chaquetas. Se aceptan reproducciones.

• Se valorará positivamente la coherencia estética completa del conjunto.

• No se permitirá el uso de ropa moderna ni zapatillas deportivas en la zona de Paddock. 

 

 Queda totalmente prohibido conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol, drogas o cualquier sustancia que pueda afectar a la conducción. 

 

El comportamiento en pista deberá ser responsable en todo momento.

 MOTOR Y ELEMENTOS TÉCNICOS

 

• El motor deberá corresponder a la época del vehículo:

   

  • Motocicletas: anteriores a 1961

  • Coches: anteriores a 1953

   

• En vehículos americanos se aceptan motores “Flathead” hasta 1953.

• Ningún elemento del vehículo (carrocería, motor o interior) podrá estar suelto.

• Solo se autoriza el uso de gasolina convencional (máximo 98 octanos).

• El sistema de combustible  (deposito bien sujeto y líneas)  y el cableado eléctrico deberán estar correctamente instalados y en buen estado.

• No se admitirán fugas de líquidos, salvo pequeñas pérdidas de aceite propias de vehículos antiguos (en ese caso, se deberá proteger el suelo del paddock).

• Los radiadores deberán funcionar únicamente con agua.

 SEGURIDAD Y ESTADO DEL VEHÍCULO

 

• Los vehículos deberán estar en perfecto estado mecánico, especialmente en lo referente al sistema de frenos.

• El chasis y la estructura serán revisados (no se aceptarán grietas ni soldaduras deficientes).

• Los asientos deberán estar firmemente fijados al chasis o a la carrocería.

• Se recomienda  el uso de cinturones de seguridad y barras de protección (barras antivuelco), especialmente en los coches tipo roadster.

• Es obligatorio disponer de un extintor accesible en los coches.

• El depósito de combustible deberá estar correctamente fijado y cerrado.

• La dirección deberá estar revisada y en buen estado.

• Los tapacubos y embellecedores deberán ser retirados / desmontados. 

• Los faros deberán retirarse o protegerse adecuadamente con cinta.

• Para respetar el medio ambiente, en el área de paddock, los vehículos con pequeñas fugas de motor, deberán colocar una bandeja recolectora colocada bajo el vehículo. 
• Las batería del vehículo deberá estar bien sujeta al coche.

 ESTÉTICA Y NÚMEROS DE CARRERA

 

• El evento se desarrolla en la arena de la playa, emulando la época de los años 40 y 50's por lo que se exige una estética claramente “racing”.

• En vehículos tipo Hot Rod no se permiten guardabarros.

• El dorsal deberá ser visible y pintado manualmente:

   

  • Placa metálica para motocicletas en cada lado de la motocicleta, y frontal opcional  (deberá ser el propio piloto quien la construya y instale).

  • En los laterales de la carrocería en coches.

   

• Los números serán validados por la organización. En caso de duplicidad, se asignará una alternativa.

 INSCRIPCIÓN

 

• La participación se gestionará mediante formulario con fotografías y descripción del vehículo.

• La organización realizará una selección previa de los participantes.

• Una vez aceptada la inscripción, se facilitará toda la información del evento.

 

 

 El número de participantes será limitado.

 CONTROL TÉCNICO

 

• Todos los vehículos deberán pasar una verificación técnica obligatoria antes del inicio del evento.

• Esta revisión se realizará en presencia del piloto.

• Cualquier vehículo que no cumpla los requisitos será excluido.

 DURANTE EL EVENTO

 

• La organización se reserva el derecho de excluir a cualquier participante que muestre una conducción peligrosa o un comportamiento inadecuado.

 USO DE IMÁGENES

 

• La organización y patrocinadores podrán utilizar imágenes y vídeos del evento con fines promocionales o comerciales.

• El uso por parte de los participantes será exclusivamente personal.

PARTICIPATION RULES

 

The following rules govern the participation of vehicles and drivers in the event.

 

The Costa Brava Vintage Race is not a competition; there are no times or rankings. It is a purely aesthetic event, and the dynamic demonstrations are in a "run for fun" style. Therefore, it is the participant's responsibility to drive prudently and behave responsibly to avoid causing harm to themselves or others.

 VEHICLES

 

• Cars manufactured before 1953 and motorcycles manufactured before 1961 are eligible.
• Vehicles from any country (Europe, the United States, or other countries) are welcome.
• Both the vehicle and its modifications must adhere to a racing aesthetic appropriate to the era.
• All racing-style equipment must be consistent with the historical period.
• No passengers are allowed inside the car/motorcycle; only the driver is permitted.
• All vehicles must have a body.
• All vehicles must have valid insurance.
• The gas cap must be in place and secure.

 DRIVERS

 

 

All participants must comply with the following:

 

• Mandatory use of safety equipment: approved vintage-style helmet, gloves, protective eyewear, and appropriate boots.

 

• All riders must have a valid driver's license.
• For motorcycles, a back protector and a jet-style helmet are mandatory .
• Period-correct clothing is required, including trousers, shirts, and jackets. Reproductions are acceptable.
• Overall aesthetic coherence will be positively assessed.
• Modern clothing and athletic shoes are not permitted in the paddock area.

 

Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving is strictly prohibited.

 

Responsible behavior on the road is required at all times.

 ENGINE AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

 

• The engine must match the vehicle’s period:

   

  • Motorcycles: before 1961

  • Cars: before 1953

   

• American vehicles may use “Flathead” engines up to 1953.

• No part of the vehicle (body, engine, or interior) may be loose.

• Only conventional gasoline is allowed (maximum 98 octane).

• Fuel lines and electrical wiring must be properly installed and in good condition.

• Fluid leaks are not allowed, except minor oil leaks in older vehicles (in which case a protective tray must be placed under the vehicle in the paddock).

• Radiators must contain water only (no coolant).

 VEHICLE SAFETY AND CONDITION

 

• Vehicles must be in perfect mechanical condition, especially regarding the braking system.
• The chassis and structure will be inspected (cracks and faulty welds will not be accepted).
• Seats must be securely fastened to the chassis or body.
• The use of seat belts and roll bars is recommended, especially in roadsters.
• An accessible fire extinguisher is mandatory in all vehicles.
• The fuel tank must be properly secured and closed.
• The steering system must be inspected and in good working order.
• Wheel covers and trims must be removed.
• Headlights must be removed or properly protected with tape.
• To protect the environment, in the paddock area, vehicles with minor engine leaks must have a drip tray placed underneath them.
• The vehicle battery must be securely fastened to the car.

 VEHICLE APPEARANCE AND RACE NUMBERS

 

• The event takes place on the beach sand, emulating the era of the 1940s and 50s, therefore a distinctly "racing" aesthetic is required.
• Hot Rod-type vehicles do not have fenders.
• The number plate must be visible and hand-painted:           

                      -Metal license plate for motorcycles on each side, and optional front plate (the rider must fabricate and install this).             

                      -On the sides of the car body.

Numbers will be validated by the organizers. In case of duplicates, an alternative will be assigned.

 REGISTRATION

 

 

• Participation is managed through a registration form including photos and vehicle description.

• The organization will pre-select participants.

• Once accepted, all event information will be provided.

 

 

 Participant numbers are limited.

 TECHNICAL INSPECTION

 

 

• All vehicles must pass a mandatory technical inspection before the event.

• The inspection will be conducted in the presence of the driver.

• Vehicles not meeting the requirements will be excluded.

 DURING THE EVENT

 

 

• The organization reserves the right to remove any participant displaying dangerous driving or inappropriate behavior.

 IMAGE USAGE

 

 

• The organization and sponsors may use photos and videos from the event for promotional or commercial purposes.

• Participants may only use photos and videos for private purposes.
